One of the most honest and well-known rappers in South Africa, Emtee, expressed his sincere respect for fellow hip-hop artist Cassper Nyovest in a touching tweet.
The tweet, which went viral right away, described Emtee‘s happy feelings everytime he communicates with Cassper and referred to their exchanges as a source of positive energy.
“I actually f**k with Cass. EVERYTIME we link up, it’s positive energy. The last time I embraced big homie for a good 15 seconds. Felt right,” Emtee tweeted, expressing his respect for Cassper.
Given the competitive nature of the hip-hop industry, where artist conflicts frequently make news, the two rappers’ public demonstration of solidarity is noteworthy.
This was not the same intensity that was there between the two rappers in previous years, though, since they had a long-running feud that was ultimately resolved.
